Homeless Garden Project & DiviniTree Collaboration

This partnership the Homeless Garden Project and Divinitree Yoga Studios offers yoga classes in the garden from 2-3 p.m. every Tuesday throughout the spring and summer, weather permitting. Earlier in the day, volunteers can be found gardening from 10 a.m to 2 p.m, and enjoying a regularly scheduled lunch at noon, raising the standards for al fresco lunches everywhere. Taking yoga off the matt and into the community, this has been an incredible opportunity to offer practice as service. We want to bring health, wellness and consciousness to a lot of people, and believe Santa Cruz can be a model for that form of community synergy.
